A woman who claimed her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her, had a change of heart when she appeared in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
Jihad Georges, of #13 Blue Waters, Rockley, Christ Church, had been charged with assaulting Rebeda Carty on December 2, 2018, occasioning her actual bodily harm.
However, when Carty appeared in court today she told Magistrate Douglas Frederick she was no longer interested in the matter and was not offering any evidence.
And after she told prosecutor Station Sergeant Carrison Henry that she had not been threatened, forced nor bribed into making her decision, the magistrate dismissed the case.
