HMP Dodds will be home for Dario Devon Drayton for the next two years.
The 25-year-old who has no fixed place of abode was sentenced today on five counts of robbery and two counts of burglary committed in 2017.
They are for robbing Anthony McClean of $353 worth of items and Samiya Dottin of a $60 sweater on July 7; also robbing Nigel Graham of $1,910 in items, Daria Worrell of $1,100 in property and Kemal Austin of $955 worth of items on October 30 as well as entering the home of Nicholas Mentrose as a trespasser and stealing various items worth $1,930 on October 21 and also entering the home of Stacey Johnson as a trespasser and stealing $6,452 worth of items.
However, his time before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant who imposed today’s sentence is far from over.
Drayton will return to the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court on November 28 on eight other charges including indecent assault; assault with intent to rob; wounding with intent as well as assaulting and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty.
