A 42-year-old joiner has been remanded to HMP Dodds for the next 28 days on a burglary charge.
It is alleged that Shawn Rochester Lashley, of Taylors Gap, Prescod Bottom, St Michael, entered the home of Debra Branker as a trespasser between June 3 and 4 and stole a spanner, a drill machine, a screwdriver, a spade drill, an Allen Key set, four buckets of paint, one door lock, a bucket of thinners, a bucket of primer, two paint brushes, a tray roller and two cans of stain at a total cost of $3,330.59 belonging to Andrew Kendall.
Acting Station Sergeant Cameron Gibbons objected to bail after the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.
He will make his next appearance before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant on November 2.
