A 47-year-old man will spend the next three weeks at the Psychiatric Hospital being assessed by doctors.
Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant sent Ricardo Orlando Streaks, of no fixed place of abode, to the institution after he pleaded for help for his drug addiction.
He had moments before pleaded guilty to having two cocaine apparatus in his possession.
He will return to the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrate Court on October 31.
