A 37-year-old stall operator has admitted to having an offensive weapon in his possession.
On May 18, police responded to a report of loud music playing at Nursery Drive, St Michael.
On arrival they approached Carson Orlando Burrowes, of Clarkes Road, Delamere Land, Belmont Road, St Michael, who was operating a stall.
A search was requested and a flick knife was found on his person.
When asked to account for it, Burrowes reportedly told police the weapon was a box cutter.
Following his guilty plea, Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant imposed a bond on Burrowes, who is known to the courts.
If he breaches the conditions of the bond within the next 12 months he faces either a forthwith fine of $1,500 or four months at Dodds prison.
