An unemployed St John woman, who went on a one-day stealing spree at Massy Stores, will know her fate in the next two months.
Sushella Latoya Deshong, of Massiah Street, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft when she appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the No.2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
Deshong was accused of stealing four bottles of brandy, three bottles of scotch whiskey, two feminine deodorants and an air freshener from the stores on May 5, 2018. The items, totalled $327.33.
On the same day, the accused also reportedly stole two bottles of wine, one bottle of Mount Gay Rum and one bottle of Cockspur Rum Splash, valued at $184.55 also from Massy Stores.
Frederick ordered a pre-sentencing report on the 38-year-old woman who was granted $1,500 bail and ordered to return to court on July 6, 2018.
