A 22 year-old man got a lesson today on how past deeds could haunt you. Shaquille Duante Va-Dahl Stoute of Lightfoot Lane, St Michael appeared this morning before Magistrate Sandra Rawlins charged with possession 10 grams of cannabis when police executed a search of his home on November 29, 2018.
Stoute pleaded guilty to the offence. However in going through the court records it was discovered that Stoute was on a bond last April to keep the peace for three years. This meant that the latest conviction was breach of the order and he was therefore required to fork out $1500 forthwith. After paying he fine the young man was placed on another three-year bond for the marijuana charge.
