A 27-year-old man who was at a loss for words during his bail application, limped out of the District 'A' Magistrate's Court, while a 31-year-old man blew kisses at his girlfriend as they were escorted out minutes apart on route to HMP Dodds.
The two men who appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant this afternoon are separately charged in connection with a violent confrontation that occurred at The Pine, St Michael over the weekend where they allegedly injured each other.
They are Akeem Olusha Tudor of Block 73 Regent Hill, Pinelands, St Michael, the older of the two, and Darian Orlando Yearwood, of Block 4 Princess Royal Avenue, Pinelands, St Michael.

First to appear in the dock was Tudor who is charged with using a firearm with intent to commit wounding, possession of six rounds of ammunition without a valid licence and wounding Yearwood with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to him on November 3.
Tudor, who was represented by attorney-at-law Aleshia Bourne, was not required to plead to the indictable charges and received an automatic 28-day stay at Dodds. And as he was escorted out of the No.2 District 'A' Magistrate's Court Tudor could be seen putting his hands to his mouth and blowing kisses at a woman in court who is reported to be his girlfriend and Yearwood's mother.
Moments later Yearwood limped into the dock accused of unlawfully wounding Tudor on November 3 with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to him.
He too was not required to plead to the charges but Sergeant Edwin Pinder made a formal application against bail.
The prosecutor pointed to the seriousness of the offence, the likelihood that the accused would re-offend as well as the strength of the evidence against him.
“The accused has to be protected from himself . . . and this is behaviour that the court should frown upon,” Pinder submitted.
In his application, Yearwood said: “On various occasions this man trying to shoot me.” However, Magistrate Cuffy-Sargeant told him that he could not go into the facts of the charge at this time given that it was indictable.
“I don't know what to tell you, that's the honest truth,” said Yearwood who moments before admitted that he had other matters pending before the court.
He then limped out of the court with a December 4 return date.
Police over the weekend said that Yearwood was reportedly shot in the groin area while Tudor was stabbed multiple times.
