Claims that he had nothing to do with the robbery of four people were not enough to prevent a 28-year-old man from spending more time on remand at HMP Dodds.
Kemar Mario Dacosta Greene, of Applewaites, St George who had been housed at the St Philip penal institution since September 9 appeared before the District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court today.
He was not required to plead to the charges that he robbed Anesta Henry of a cellular phone, a driver’s licence, a purse, and $550 in cash on June 1 as well as Orlando Burke of a cellular phone and $85 cash on the same day.
The accused also could not plead to the allegation that he robbed Ameina storey of a cellular phone and Sean Edwards of a wallet, two credit cards, a bank card, a drivers licence, an identification card, a watch, an insurance policy, a bag, a cellular phone, a car key and a ring as well as a glock pistol, two magazines, 30 rounds of ammunition, a shirt, a pair of numerals and letters, nine buttons, a whistle and four pins belonging to the Crown worth a total $7,107.45.

Gibbons objected to bail for the accused on the grounds that the charges were serious, the strength of the evidence against him and the need to protect society as well as the fact that others had also been charged for the same offence.
“I didn’t have nothing to do with this Ma’am . . . nothing to do with no robbery,” Greene told Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in his bail applicant which was denied.
He will return to court on September 21 when several men also charged with the offences are due to reappear in the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court.
