A 35-year-old man, with a long history of drug offences, will spend the next three weeks at the Psychiatric Hospital in Black Rock, St Michael.
Kuanta Ricardo Kabuka Tull, of Gills Road, Roebuck Street, St Michael, was remanded to the mental health facility for assessment and counselling following which a report is to be delivered to Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.
Tull is accused of possession, possession with intent to supply and possession with intent to traffick a quantity of cannabis and cocaine on July 10.
“Those are not mine . . . . This one ain’t mine . . . . Someone run and leave back the drugs and the police hold me. I am not guilty,” the accused said after the six charges were put to him.
“I plead guilty to all my drugs before, but this one ain’t mine,” he reiterated before
he was sent to the mental hospital until August 2.
