A 24-year-old conductor, on an assault charge, will make his next appearance in the District ‘E’ Magistrate’s Court on October 7.
Joshua Leroy Clarke, of Greenidges, St Lucy, was granted $1,500 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Granveney Bannister in the District ‘A’ Magistrate’s Court over the weekend.
Clarke was not required to enter a plea to the charge that he unlawfully assaulted Shanece Norgrove on June 29, occasioning her actual bodily harm. However, he was warned to stay away from Norgrove until the matter is adjudicated.
